Little bit about Mark and Rita
This is our Pin Trading collection page, I've been collecting Star Wars since the movie came out. Rita's been collection Eeyore and Disney pins. Once we put those two things together it has ran wild. It started on our first trip to Walt Disney World together, she showed me pins and I helped her with her passion. I didn't know after a few minutes that I would get hooked. We chase down people and workers trying to trade with them. Its always fun to meet new friends that have the same interest, searching craigslist to ebay and at Disney. We love going to flea markets and garage sales. Please also take time to check out My Star Wars Collection Marks Star Wars Page
Must Have books for Collecting
Everything in this Volume is different from Volume I, except for Hidden Mickey Cast Lanyard pins which appear in a new section. This volume covers U.S. Disney theme parks and Cruise Lines from the Spring of 2007 through the first quarter of 2012. New sections include mystery sets, a section on pins issued at both parks, D23, and the Walt Disney Family Museum. The Disney Store, Paris Disneyland, and Tokyo theme parks have also returned. The new guide is full color as was Volume I which covered pins issued from 1930 to Spring 2007. The new guide updates five years worth of new pins filling 160 pages. Each pin has edition size and a value code. The Table of Contents has been expanded for greater ease in finding a pin of interest. It turned out to be a larger book than originally anticipated, but if you loved Volume I you should really like Volume II.

Images and info use from this site. Over the years, pins have flourished as both a collectible and as an artistic platform, and at PinPics we believe in encouraging collectors to embrace pins as examples of creative achievement. We wish to nurture the advancement of pins, in the belief that some of these pieces stand as works of art and warrant treatment as such. Hopefully by doing so, pins can be elevated to their deserved place within the collecting community. Using this framework, PinPics is also attempting to explore the progression of characters through pins. As pins have allowed the artists to continue narratives offscreen, this has in some cases enabled an expansion of the characters themselves. Our intention is to examine the avenues created by the artists which have allowed characters to further develop and evolve by way of pins.
HOW TO PIN TRADE QUESTIONS
How can I experience the magic?
It's simple and fun! Just visit Walt Disney World, the Disneyland Resort or Disneyland Paris, locate a Cast Member wearing a lanyard with Disney pins and find a pin you'd like. Then present another Disney pin to the Cast Member in trade. Bringing home the magic is that simple. Plus, we have some quick and easy guidelines to help you trade at each park.
"The Trading Tradition"
Disney has always offered collectible Disney pins in each of its parks, but with the kickoff of the Millennium Celebration in October 1999 at Walt Disney World, we began a new tradition of Disney Pin Trading. Now thousands of Guests trade each day with our Cast Members as well as other Guests throughout the parks and resorts. Like sharing Disney stories with your children and grandchildren, sharing pins is a delightful tradition for each generation. Mark the beginning of the century with pins you love and memories you'll treasure.
