Hong Kong Phooey premiered in the 1974. A janitor at a Police Station by the name of Penrod Pooch turns into Hong Kong Phooey whenever he hears of trouble. All he has to do is dive into a file cabinet drawer and out he comes in his kung fu outfit. His cat, Spot, helps him out and save the day for him.
